I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the place was considering how close it is to the airport. I did not even know there was a neighborhood in the area before.

We have stayed at many hotels in the Alameda area, and have found Hampton Inn the best so far. The location is perfect for our needs, the check in was easy, room sizable & clean, bed comfy, and shower water pressure was great. The breakfast is a full breakfast & very tasty. 24 hr coffee or tea is also available in the lobby, along with a bar for evening enjoyment with lots of tv's to enjoy with a drink & snack. We'll be back!

room was spacious, king bed with a sofa bed. king bed was very comfortable.

Greet staff (Tianna) was amazing. She got us into our room without much wait time. Also, the pizza and service staff (Will) was great! Liked that they had a shuttle to the airport that took us early (4:00 am). When we took the wrong shuttle on our return, they were great about sending the shuttle to another hotel where we were waiting.

The hotel had helpful and friendly staff. The facilities were clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a good selection of cold and hot foods. The paid airport shuttle service was easy to organize. The location is so close to the airport, that it's perfect for an overnight layover. I used the fitness center early in the morning before my long-haul flight, the equipment was clean and modern.

Good location for where I needed to go. Room had been renovated and was quite large and pleasant. Nice Breakfast selection. Very pleasant general manager.

The full bar was a nice surprise. The light food offerings were appreciated. The Caesar salad was fresh and big enough for two people. The pizza was okay but I wish we had ordered the wings. They looked delicious. The complimentary breakfast was very good and offered everything a traveler could want: eggs, breakfast meat, waffles, regular and sweet breads, cereal, fruit, a variety of beverages and delicious fresh brewed coffee. The breakfast area was kept very clean and re-stocked by a wonderful friendly staff person. The front desk person, Teary and the bar/food servers, Ashley and Angel, were friendly and welcoming.

Safe location near airport, off the beaten path. Nice views. Very close to car rental return and airport. Fresh baked cookies out in lobby. Beds pretty good.

Breakfast was amazing. I loved the different strengths (dark roast, light roast) coffee they had in addition to decaf. 2 mini waffle makers and they change the flavors daily. They have scrambled eggs, sausage, oatmeal, cereal pastries, etc. Fruit, yogurt. A good variety.
